ESTATE PLANNING SERVICES
Decide how your property will be distributed after you pass away, and appoint someone you trust to make sure that happens. If you have minor children, appoint a guardian who will care for them and a trustee who will help them manage their inheritance.
Use a Trust to hold your assets during your lifetime, and bypass the probate process at your death. Include your specific wishes for how your property will pass to loved ones and future generations.
Durable Powers of Attorney
Appoint someone you trust to manage your assets and make financial decisions for you if you lose the ability to do so yourself.
Advance Healthcare Directives
Appoint someone you trust to make medical decisions for you if you become unable to make those decisions for yourself. Include your wishes for life-sustaining treatment and post-mortem care.
ESTATE PLANNING | MAINE + NEW HAMPSHIRE
I have spent the past decade honing my practice in estate planning and probate in Maine and New Hampshire. Estate planning is personal. What I enjoy most about my practice is coming alongside clients to understand their goals, and working together to create a well-rounded plan that achieves those goals.
I work with clients to prepare Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Advance Directives, as well as Deeds, Prenuptial Agreements, Special Needs Trusts, Real Estate Trusts, and business documents as they relate to my clients’ needs.
I am originally from Sanford, Maine, where much of my family still resides. I am a proud Navy spouse, and my husband, Sean, and I live in Wells with our two daughters, Natalie and Jillian.
